Book an appointment with a consultant
Your visit to a Spire hospital may be affected by local coronavirus restrictions. Once you've made an online booking, we'll only contact you if your appointment needs to be held virtually. If you don't hear from us, your appointment will be face to face.
Come to your appointment alone: To support social distancing and help protect our staff, patients and consultants, we’re restricting access in our hospitals except for exceptional circumstances so please come alone to your appointment.
If you have any of the following symptoms, you will not be able to attend a face-to-face appointment. You should get a test and stay at home.
- Recent onset of a new continuous cough
- A high temperature
- A loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)
Please do not attend the hospital if you develop, or have had recent contact with anyone with the Covid symptoms listed above.
We do not offer Covid-19 testing as part of our private GP service.
Please read the latest coronavirus (COVID-19) information.
You can book appointments for yourself or for someone else using this online booking service. If you wish to book a follow up appointment, please contact the hospital to make these arrangements.
To book online and secure an appointment you will need to pay at the time of booking. Once you’ve chosen your appointment slot it will be held for 20 minutes while you complete the details needed to confirm.
We accept Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards.

Professor Tim Woolford
Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon
MB ChB, MD, FRCS
Professional profile:
I am a Consultant Surgeon specialising in ear, nose and throat conditions. I’ve got over 20 years’ experience and always aim to give my patients a balanced view about the best treatment options available. My approach is to treat my patients as I would wish members of my family to be treated, or would like to be looked after myself. In my clinic I will always give patients plenty of time and do my best to discuss and explain the nature of the problem. I will give a balanced opinion and only recommend surgery if there is evidence that it is effective, and the benefits clearly outweigh the risks.
